Neglected tropical diseases and One Health: gearing up against antimicrobial resistance to secure the safety of future generations

Although medicines used for neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) continue to effective, antimicrobial resistance can compromise these global programmes. To ensure drug-efficacy, immediate measures - including monitoring and establishment of surveillance systems - need to be in place. To mark this year’s World Antimicrobial Awareness Week from 18 -24 November, the NTD Department and the Department of Global Coordination and Partnership on AMR are hosting a webinar on 24 November.
